WELCOME TO ANTONY WOODLAND GARDEN & WOODLAND WALKS

As Seen On BBC CountryFile 21st July 2019

Immerse yourself in quiet tranquillity. Look out across still waters as light filters through the canopy. Wander through drifts of wildflowers. Slow your pace, and find your space at Antony Woodland Garden.

Welcome to one of Cornwall’s hidden corners — Antony Woodland Garden and Woodland Walks. A place to step away from the everyday, where time feels unhurried and there is no set route. Just woodland to explore, pause in, and return to again.

Set beside Antony House and its formal gardens, these 100 acres of woodland offer a quieter, more natural landscape in South East Cornwall.

Unspoilt woodland leads down to the Lynher estuary, where secluded coves and wide, open views wait to be discovered.

Along the way, you’ll find contemporary sculpture hidden among collections of camellias, magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas and hydrangeas — each coming into its own as the seasons change.

Parts of Alice in Wonderland were filmed here — see if you can spot the setting that inspired the famous rabbit hole.

Plan Your Visit

Wander as far as you like, at your own pace. Follow winding paths through dappled light, or arrive early to catch the woodland in morning mist. With every step, the pace of everyday life falls away.

Children are free to explore, climb, and discover — a chance to experience nature without barriers, in a space that invites curiosity.

Whether you come for a gentle walk, a quiet moment, or a day outdoors with family, Antony Woodland Garden offers space to breathe, think, and simply be.

Purchase your season tickets and return whenever you like.
