Opening Hours

Antony Woodland Garden – Camellia Heaven!

15th February – 31st October 2025

10.30am to 5pm (last entry to the garden, one hour before closing).
Closed Mondays and Fridays (except Bank Holidays). No dogs permitted.

Antony Woodland Walk – Dog-permitted side!

1st January – 31st December (gates closed at 4pm in winter).

Closed Mondays and Fridays (except Bank Holidays).

The Woodland Walk is accessible as part of the entrance to Antony Woodland Garden. With your ticket will be able to bring your dogs into the Woodland Walk. Unfortunately, we cannot permit dogs in the formal Garden. Please note that the Woodland Walk is now open year-round.

A single ticket for the Antony Woodland Garden costs only £10 and admits one person and up to two children under 16.

Register now for a Family Season Ticket to Antony Woodland Garden in 2025, it costs £40 per year allowing unlimited access (during official entrance times) for two adults and two children, as well as regular email updates as to what is in season, including bi-annual garden updates from Head Gardener, Richard Squires.

Single Season Tickets are also available, for just £25. These allow entry for one adult and two children under 16.

Weather Warnings

During severe wind conditions, we prioritise safety by temporarily closing the gardens due to the risk of falling branches from trees. As a precaution, the gardens and walking paths will be closed if the Met Office issues a wind weather warning. For regular updates, please check our Facebook and Instagram pages.

 

Directions

  • By Road 
    From Plymouth: 6 miles west via the Torpoint car ferry (note: there is a toll when travelling from Torpoint to Plymouth, but not vice versa).
    From Torpoint: 2 miles northwest, just north of the A374.
    From Liskeard: 16 miles southeast.

Upon arrival at the main gate, proceed along Ferry Lane past Antony House. Broomhill Cottage will come into view ahead, and Antony Woodland Garden’s free car park will be on your right, nestled beneath the trees.

Parking: Free car park available; please note, the gates close at 5 PM.

  • By Train:
    The nearest train station is located in Plymouth, just 6 miles away.
  • By Bus:
    Take bus 70A/70B (Go Cornwall Bus) from Plymouth or Cremyll and get off at Trevithick Avenue, which is 0.8 miles from our entrance.
  • By Bicycle: Easily accessible via NCN27, located just 2 miles away. Cycle route information
