On Wednesday 20th February, HMS Richmond
along with many other businesses will be meeting at
Tregantle Beach
at 11am for a monster beach clean. Can you spare an hour or two to help?
Now established at Devonport, HMS Richmond’s ships company are dedicated to the environment. The impact of not acting now could result in major disasters in the future. Therefore HMS Richmond are conducting a large organised beach clean alongside the Daily Mail, Keep Britain Tidy, and many other outstations. As a Newly established Fighting Unit we are looking for more support and as such you are invited to join us.
The plan of the day will be to muster at Tregantle Fort in Cornwall at 11:00 where a full Health and Safety brief will be conducted, we will then transit to the main beach. Please bring along a couple of Black bags each. Gloves will be provided.
Pasties will be available to keep you nicely fuelled, so bring some coin too.
We are proud to support this great initiative so come and enjoy a day in the fresh air, meet HMS Richmond’s ships company and help clean up this amazing beach while you’re at it.
